The Music Ministry of St. Joseph's unifies the communities within our parish through a shared love of music and devotion to our Catholic faith at masses, concerts, and other events throughout the year. In collaboration with local artists, our English, Italian, Spanish, and Children's choirs seek to serve as a bridge promoting fellowship within the larger community of Astoria. All are welcome to join.
English Choir
Adults and young men and women are invited to bring their voices and join our choir. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Church and participates in the 12pm English Mass on Sunday as well as trilingual masses throughout the Liturgical year.
Spanish Choir
Adults and young men and women are invited to bring their voices and join our choir. The choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7 PM in the Church and participates in the 10:30 AM Mass in Spanish on Sunday as well as trilingual masses throughout the Liturgical year.
Italian Choir
Adult men and women are invited to bring their voices and join our choir. The choir rehearses on Saturdays at 3:00 PM in the Church and participates in the 4:00 PM Mass in Italian on Saturdays as well as trilingual masses throughout the Liturgical year.
Children’s Choir
Children aged 7 to 12 are invited to bring their voices and join our choir. We rehearse on Wednesdays in the Church at 7PM and participate in the 9 AM Family Mass on Sundays. Children are encouraged to also participate in the trilingual masses throughout the Liturgical year.
